MIDDLE SCHOOL HANDBOOK
The information contained in this guide is presented to help you to succeed in middle school. We encourage students to study, work hard, and get involved in school activities. The enjoyment and success of our students is directly related to the efforts they put in here. Amity encourages all parents to work closely with the school on their child’s progress.
MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM OF STUDIES
The achievement of our mission will be realized when our students can demonstrate growth in the skills and dispositions outlined in the BOWA Portrait of the Graduate. The Portrait of the Graduate is a promise that we make to ALL our students to prepare our students for the world beyond school. The attributes and characteristics identified in the Portrait of the Graduate do not replace rigorous academic content. Rather, the characteristics and dispositions work in tandem with high academic standards, transcending and connecting independent content areas.
